Estate Management Jobs
Estate management jobs involve working with tenants who live in subsidized housing, usually lower income or Housing Benefit. The tenants are not considered to be vulnerable, merely needing extra assistance from the state to be able to attain suitable accommodation.
A minimum of six months' experience managing the estate (like a lettings agent) is the standard requirement. You will be dealing with issues such as graffiti, vandalism, anti-social behaviour and neighbour nuisance. An ability to communicate with the tenants on a personably is very important.
Diverse function of housing officer jobs
A proven track record dealing with Generic Housing or specifically Estate Management is advantageous as is experience of reducing caseloads. You will also be working with external agencies to formulate action plans and take action accordingly if and when tenancy agreements are breached and pursuing issues to court where necessary.
